Lenovo Legion Phone Duel runs Android 10, along with the ZUI 12.0 interface. This combines Android functionality with a warrior look, but Lenovo went further and did not limit themselves to simply adding a theme suitable for gaming – the interface itself is optimized for landscape use. This means that we can use the phone in this way in any application, from home screen to settings, and the interface adapts to this context, making the most of the screen space available.

Obviously, the operating system has two modes, more precisely the default mode, in which we use the phone for our usual daily activities, respectively Legion Realm, in which the phone automatically switches to high-performance mode, and the phone is basically transformed into a portable console. We can enter the Legion Realm both with the help of the icon positioned on the main screen, and by simultaneously pressing the two shoulder triggers. We will go into details about Legion Realm on the next page, which is dedicated to gaming.

Gaming optimizations aside, we have the full functionality of Android 10, with buttons or gestures navigation, applications organized on the main screens or in the app drawer, and caring parents being able to set various limits in the Parental Control menu . Last but not least, we can choose the refresh rate of the display (60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz or 144Hz), we can control the lighting of the phone and we can do all these things both in portrait and landscape mode.
