For three months, RedMagic 5G dominated the performance charts on our website, only being surpassed, two months ago, by ASUS ROG Phone 3 and its Snapdragon 865+. Well, it wasn’t long before another performance oriented beast, with the same chipset under the hood, stepped into the arena, Lenovo Legion Phone Duel managing to surpass the performance of ROG Phone 3 in most of our tests. Of course, the differences between the two beasts are quite small, but it is really impressive that Lenovo Legion Phone Duel manages to achieve such a high performance, especially if we take into account that in the ASUS smartphone benefits from the active cooling solution included in the package.

This says a lot about the performance of the cooling solution used by Lenovo, showing that it is not necessary to use a fan, either built-in, such as RedMagic, or external, such as ASUS, to get the highest performance. And if you want to talk about gaming performance… well… the limit is simply the refresh rate of the display, with Real Racing 3, Dead Target and Mortal Kombat running smoothly and constantly at 144Hz throughout all our gaming sessions.

Basically, at the moment Lenovo Legion Phone Duel is the most powerful smartphone available on the market, showing us once again what Snapdragon 865+ is really capable of.
